Emma considers colour in a delicate and sensitive way. Using soft and calming tones to create a strong mood and atmosphere. She responds to lines, contours and angles creating repeating subtle patterns, which draw in the eye. Emma’s work holds a certain element of fascination along side her sophisticated style.
She appreciates her work as individual installation pieces, however also recognizes their natural environment as being interior prints. Emma experiments with a wide range of materials such as paper, wool, linen, cotton and ceramics allowing her to grasp them in different contexts.
